Shipping Policy

At Brittany Johnson and Family, our priority is ensuring that every Bernese Mountain Dog puppy arrives safely, comfortably, and in excellent health. We work closely with families to arrange the best transportation option for each puppy.

Pickup Options

Families are welcome to pick up their puppy in person by appointment. This gives you the opportunity to meet your new companion and ask any final questions before taking your puppy home.

Delivery Options

If you are unable to pick up your puppy, we may be able to arrange safe delivery depending on your location. Delivery options and availability will be discussed before finalizing your adoption.

Puppy Travel Requirements

Before leaving for their new home, every puppy will:

Receive a veterinary health examination.
Be up to date on vaccinations and deworming.
Be microchipped (where applicable).
Be old enough and healthy enough for travel.
Include all required health documentation.

Shipping Schedule

Shipping or pickup arrangements are made only after the puppy is ready to leave for its new home and all required paperwork has been completed. We will work with you to choose a suitable date and time.

Shipping Costs

Shipping or delivery fees are not included in the puppy price unless otherwise stated. The total transportation cost will depend on your location and the delivery method selected.

Delays

Weather conditions, transportation schedules, or other unforeseen circumstances may occasionally delay travel. If this happens, we will keep you informed and arrange a new delivery date as soon as possible.

Receiving Your Puppy

When your puppy arrives, we recommend that you:

Review the health records provided.
Offer fresh water and a quiet place to rest.
Allow time for your puppy to adjust to its new environment.
Schedule a wellness check with your local veterinarian within the first few days.
